We are professionally trained, regulated, insured and legally qualified to provide a comprehensive range of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Planning services, working in association with Countrywide Tax & Trust Corporation Ltd.

Our services are available weekdays during the daytime or evening and include a FREE initial consultation, which can take place at our office, via Zoom, or by telephone.

Chargeable home visit meetings are also available (within 40 miles of our Chichester office, excluding the Isle of Wight; restrictions apply).

South Coast Legal Services Limited is led by Director Colin Smart, who has been advising clients since 1994. Colin began his career in Financial Services, qualifying as both a tied and independent financial adviser between 1994 and 2009. During this time, he developed a strong interest in Will writing and estate planning following professional training with Allied Dunbar/Zurich and the Society of Will Writers.

In 2009, Colin established South Coast Wills and undertook formal legal studies with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx), gaining qualifications in:

Law of Wills and Succession
The Practice of Law for Elderly Clients
Probate Practice

Colin continues to actively support the regional group of the Society of Will Writers.

In April 2018, South Coast Wills Limited changed its name to South Coast Legal Services Limited, reflecting the broader range of legal and estate planning solutions now available to clients.

By working in association with Countrywide Tax & Trust Corporation, we are able to offer advanced estate planning strategies, including the use of Trusts within Wills, providing flexible and effective asset protection solutions.
